Project Consultant

Toronto, Ontario

Led by funding from Y Combinator, Roofr is a managed marketplace for roofing providing roofing estimates in seconds through satellite imagery. Our hands on, focused approach ensures that our customers save money and stay well informed throughout the process. We hand select the best local contractors, and take a portion of the project, rather than selling off leads, ensuring all parties are invested in the success of each project. We’re now building a fully verticalized roofing marketplace with a host of products to streamline the entire roof replacement process for consumers and roofers. As an early-stage startup, we’re looking to improve the roofer-homeowner relationship in an industry that has ample room for improvement.

As a Project Consultant you will be responsible for ensuring ongoing projects in your territory go without headaches, while guaranteeing an outstanding customer experience, and driving growth. You will be responsible for discussing proposals and scopes of work from roofers with customers that result in a signed contract.

Duties:

  • You are the liaison between customers and roofers
  • Following up on leads through our custom CRM
  • Discuss proposals and scopes of work from roofers with customers that result in a signed contract
  • Communicating with contractors on a weekly basis
  • Ensure a world class customer experience for all customers
  • Make 50-100 follow up calls/day
  • Send 50-100 emails/day

Qualifications

  • 2+ years sales experience
  • General knowledge of the roofing/construction industry and demonstrated understanding of various roofing systems
  • Previous experience in the roofing industry sales preferred
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Self-starter who is comfortable making 50-100 dials/day and going above and beyond for contractors and customers
  • High level of empathy and demonstrated commitment to customer success
  • Fluent in Google Suite and Microsoft Office

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: CAD $45,000+
  • Commission: OTE: $90,000
